Auctions - The club sponsors 4 auctions per year where members can submit their material for sale. Only club members may submit material but non-club members can buy at the auctions.
Stamp Quiz - A multiple question quiz relating to stamp collecting is presented and the member getting the most correct answers is awarded a prize.
Show & Tell - Members are encouraged to bring a unique stamp, album page, cover, etc. to tell other members about its unique collecting features.
Presentations - Club members (or guests) may present a short presentation on their favorite stamp topic. For example, a country presentation, help with stamp identification, history through stamps, how to create an exhibit, etc.
Mixture Night - A bulk box of stamps is dumped on a table and members sort through the stamps looking for stamps they need to add to their collections.
Clothes Line Exhibit - Members build a page of select topics (oldest cover, oldest stamp, largest set, oldest stampless cover, etc.) and members vote on the best submission. Prizes are awarded.
Parties - Typically, a meeting is held in September where food is brought it to celebrate the opening of the stamp collecting season and a second party is held during December to celebrate the holidays and New Year.
Slide Shows or Videos - The American Philatelic Society (APS) maintains a library of slide presentations and videos covering a wide range of philatelic subjects.
Stamp Bingo - We have Bingo cards with images of stamps. We "call" Bingo games using country names matching the images on the Bingo cards. For example, "Bermuda 7" matches a Bermuda stamp number 7.
